Observed a fantastic lesson in Year 4 AC on Wednesday. The children are all learning about New Zealand and the Maori and are so interested and enthused. The children were learning how to ask fantastic questions. They have sorted different types of questions and are showing a good understanding of the difference between open and closed questions. They are now planning their questions ready for a Skype call to New Zealand, during which they will talk to Mr Cornes’ brother. The aim is to find out what it is like to live in New Zealand.

During the plenary they shared some of their questions on the Feb29th.net blog.

Well done Year 4- Great learning. Here are some good examples of the children’s work.
