Here is some lovely writing from our talented children. The first piece is a child who is new to English describing their character..

(Well done Monika)

…and the second, a piece of suspense writing from a talented writer in Year 3.

My favourite sentences are:

1. Slowly, Hogarth turned around and saw a huge shiny finger, under the twilight sky.

2. Hogarth heard a scraping, screeching, tearing noise coming towards him, his heart was racing faster, he started to shiver.

I also love the use of questions for suspense: Where did it go? Was it coming to Hogarth? Or was it going to pop out of no where?

Well done Year 3 and Mrs Hayes, a great suspense writing lesson.
